The global automotive industry is rebounding slower than expected this year, with German passenger car sales down 2.6% year on year in January, and over 15.2% decline in January-February in China (including a staggering 19% drop in A0-class SUV). The global sales of C-HR are forecast to see a massive fall of 14% in Q1. However, OMODA bucks the trend with record-breaking sales of over 13,000 in the first quarter, building off a strong start in 2023.
OMODA has still been on its path of sustained growth in regions where it has been launched, from Mexico, and Israel to Kuwait. That OMODA has achieved widespread popularity around the world in large part because of its philosophy of catering to the diverse needs of the younger generations.
Adopting the design concept of Art in Motion, the sliding-back styling of OMODA brings a unique, futuristic visual impact. Under the hood, OMODA is powered by a 1.6T or 1.5T fuel engine paired with DCT or CVT transmission, to fulfill the different needs of customers. In terms of intelligent security configuration, OMODA 5 is equipped with an ADAS system with more than 10 functions to ensure the safe and worry-free travel of young trendsetters. Driven by the pursuit of safety and quality, OMODA has scored the full five-star rating in the Euro New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP) crash test, setting a new industry benchmark for safety.
Furthermore, its excellent sales performance will also be conducive to accelerating OMODA’s global market strategy. From the beginning of the second quarter, OMODA will successively be launched in other regional markets, such as the Middle East, Latin America, and the European Union, and it is expected to expand to more than 30 global markets by the end of 2023.
Leveraging cutting-edge technologies in the field of new energy, OMODA will roll out BEV models with blistering power to facilitate the transition towards sustainable mobility ecosystems. It is reported that OMODA will hold a brand launch in late April, stay tuned for more to come.
