Eligibility
To be eligible to join the Motability Scheme, you must receive one of these disability allowances:
Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Adult Disability Payment (Scotland)
Higher Rate Mobility Component of Child Disability Payment (Scotland)
War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
You will need to have at least 12 months remaining on your allowance when you apply.
Ordering Process

After that, visit the dealership. You need to have your Certificate of Entitlement, recently paid utility bill or bank statement, your and your nominated drivers’ licence and details of any previous accidents that you or your nominated driver holds.
Step 4
Finally, collect your car. There will be a need to complete a signed agreement between yourself and Motability Operations and pay advance payment if applicable.
