- Collaboration with AIMOGA unveils latest intelligent bionic technology
- Humanoid robot ‘Mornine’ and Gen II bionic dog ‘Argos’ demonstrate future apabilities in intelligent technology.
From October 17 to 21, OMODA&JAECOO are collaborating with AIMOGA to unveil its two next-generation technologies at OMODA&JAECOO’s annual International User Summit.
The humanoid robot Mornine and the second-generation bionic family robotic dog Argos are showcased to demonstrate the possibilities of the intelligent application of advanced robotics in retail and familial settings, offering attendees a glimpse of the world of tomorrow and the future of intelligent technological life.
Intelligent Interaction, Innovative Service Ecology
During the User Summit, as part of the OMODA&JAECOO ecological exhibition area, the humanoid robot Mornine will demonstrate its abilities to act as a communications tool, bridging the gap between car brands and customers. Placed into the 4S store scenario, Mornine can actively welcome customers, communicate freely and even understand and interpret customers’ car purchasing needs, providing personalised suggestions to aide consumer decision making. At the same time, Mornine performs a wide range of showroom-based activities, from welcoming customers, to providing tea, coffee and guided vehicle tours. As an addition to showroom staff, Mornine demonstrates the way in which such applied technology could significantly improve sales efficiency and customer satisfaction levels in busy showroom environments.
Outside of a retail setting, Mornine can bring a host of efficiencies in a range of other scenarios, from assisting with household shopping requirements, assisting with diary management and travel and leisure bookings, as well as the provision of food and drink. Through autonomous configuration functions, users can easily customise the services provided, for a personalised and diverse application of intelligent robotic services in a wide variety of environments.
Providing Companionship while reshaping future Ecology
The second-generation bionic robotic family dog Argos, which is demonstrated alongside Mornine, is the second focus of the Summit’s exhibition area. With a friendly, approachable appearance and rich array of interactive functions, Argos demonstrates the advantages of technology as a substitute for family pets. Enjoying functions such as sound source positioning and the ability to locate and follow such sounds, Argos can recognise the owner’s voice, understand commands, follow movements, and even perform realistic canine actions and ‘tricks’ that include dancing and shaking hands. In environments where a live animal would not be possible or practical, it showcases the possibility of bringing the joy and companionship of pets to families or individuals. In the future, Argos will also be advantageous for providing compassionate companionship for welfare and wellbeing purposes. Whether providing emotional comfort to children with autism or assisting those with disabilities in leading their daily lives, Argos can play an invaluable role in helping to meet emotional needs, regardless of the physical environment.
The appearance of Argos not only brings the possibility of new fun to family life but also expands new application prospects in the field of intelligent service provision, fully reflecting OMODA&JAECOO’s firm commitment to providing users with intelligent life experiences.
Cross-border Integration, Co-creating an Intelligent Ecology
Victor Zhang, Country Director of OMODA&JAECOO UK said: “The construction of an intelligent ecology is not accomplished overnight and requires continuous technological innovation and application. For this reason, while creating the robot Mornine and the robotic dog Argos, OMODA&JAECOO is also actively exploring the integration paths for intelligent ecology.
“In this way, through data sharing, functional collaboration, and innovative application, a more comprehensive, intelligent, and convenient life can be created for users. Robots and robotic dogs could no longer be isolated intelligent devices, but links connecting people with people, people with things, and things with things, allowing intelligent technology to integrate with and enrich people’s lives.”
Zhang added: “At the OMODA&JAECOO International User Summit, the exciting appearance of these two innovations, the humanoid robot Mornine and the second-generation bionic robotic family dog Argos, not only shows the brand’s excellent strength in the field of intelligent technology but also conveys a beautiful vision for future intelligent life. In bringing intelligent technology to life, OMODA&JAECOO will always continue to innovate!”
