What can I do with the OMODA app?
The OMODA app puts you in control of your vehicle from the palm of your hand. Check your vehicle status, monitor tyre pressures, locate nearby charging points, and much more, all from one easy-to-use app.
Is the app free to download?
Yes — the OMODA app is free to download and available on both iOS and Android devices. Simply search for OMODA in the App Store or Google Play to get started.
What is the Motability Scheme?
The Motability Scheme allows people who receive certain mobility allowances to exchange them to lease a brand new car, scooter, or powered wheelchair, making it easier to get out and about with freedom and independence.
Who is eligible for the Motability Scheme?
You may be eligible if you receive the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Armed Forces Independence Payment, or the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (DLA).
Which OMODA models are available?
The OMODA range includes the OMODA 5 — available as petrol, full-electric E5, and SHS-H (Self Charging Hybrid) — plus the OMODA 7 SHS-P (Plugin Hybrid) and the OMODA 9 SHS-P (Plugin Hybrid). You can compare the full line-up on our Models page.
What is the difference between SHS-H and SHS-P?
SHS-H (Self-Charging Hybrid) automatically switches between petrol and electric power for efficiency, with no plugging in required. SHS-P (Plug-in Hybrid) adds a larger battery you can charge for an extended electric-only range, combining electric driving with petrol for maximum flexibility.
Do all OMODA models come with a warranty?
Yes — every new OMODA comes with an industry-leading 7-year / 100,000-mile manufacturer warranty as standard, with an 8-year / 100,000-mile warranty on the high-voltage battery for electric and hybrid models.
Can I build and price a model online?
Yes — use our Car Configurator to choose your model, trim, colour, wheels and finishing touches, and see it come together in real time before enquiring with your local retailer.
Are electric vehicles really better for the environment?
Yes — while manufacturing any vehicle has an environmental impact, electric vehicles produce zero tailpipe emissions and become increasingly cleaner over time as the UK's electricity grid moves towards renewable energy sources.
Can I charge my electric vehicle at home?
Yes — most EV owners charge overnight at home using a dedicated home charger, which can be installed quickly and easily. Government grants may also be available to help towards the cost of installation.
What is OMODA doing to reduce its environmental impact?
OMODA is committed to reducing its environmental footprint across every stage of the vehicle lifecycle, from sustainable manufacturing processes to the development of an ever-expanding range of low and zero-emission vehicles.
What happens to electric vehicle batteries at the end of their life?
EV batteries are increasingly being recycled or repurposed rather than disposed of, with manufacturers investing heavily in sustainable battery programmes to minimise waste and environmental impact.

How does corporate car leasing work?
A popular option for businesses, corporate car leasing is a solution for businesses to provide vehicles for employees without the associated ownership risks. How it works;
1. The business leases vehicles from a leasing company or retailer.
2. The vehicle is made available to an employee for work and/or personal use.
3. The monthly payments are covered by the business which pays for the depreciation during the lease term, financing costs, and when added to the agreement, the maintenance costs too.
4. At the end of the lease term, the vehicle is returned to the leasing company.
What is included in a service?
A standard service typically includes an oil and filter change, a full safety inspection, and a check of all key components including brakes, tyres, and fluid levels, giving you complete peace of mind.
How often should I service my car?
Most manufacturers recommend servicing your car once a year or every 10,000–12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Always check your owner's manual for the specific intervals recommended for your model.
Why should I use a manufacturer-approved garage?
Using a manufacturer-approved garage ensures your car is serviced by trained technicians using genuine parts, keeping your warranty intact and your vehicle performing exactly as intended.
