OMODA UK introduces the new OMODA 9 SHS-P Black Noble – a distinctive new black edition of the brand’s range-topping SUV – arriving alongside a series of MY26 updates that further enhance comfort, material quality and driving dynamics.
The new OMODA 9 SHS-P Black Noble will be priced at £46,495 OTR*, offering a more design-led take on the flagship model. Finished in matte Iced Jasper Black, the Black Noble introduces a full black exterior treatment, replacing chrome elements with darker detailing throughout. Matte black roof rails, front and rear bumper cover trims, and black suede cloth interior detailing are among a number of elements finished in black, further reinforcing the darker aesthetic throughout the vehicle. Black alloy wheels complete the car’s black-on-black look, resulting in a more distinctive on-road presence for customers seeking a more tailored expression of the flagship SUV.
Since its introduction, the OMODA 9 SHS-P has established itself as a defining model within the OMODA line-up, bringing together long-distance capability, advanced hybrid technology and a more elevated approach to design and comfort. Available from £44,995 OTR*, the MY26 upgrades to the OMODA 9 build on that foundation, delivering further improvements to the interior environment and driving dynamics, reinforcing its position as the flagship at the top of the range.
Inside, the MY26 updates place a greater emphasis on comfort and material quality. A new suede cloth headlining elevates the cabin environment, while front massage seats bring greater comfort on longer journeys and reinforce the car’s positioning as a more sophisticated everyday flagship. Electric seat adjustment has also been expanded, now offering 8-way adjustment for the driver and 6-way adjustment for the passenger, with an electric thigh bolster now available for the driver, too.
Alongside a raft of interior upgrades, they are supported by revisions to the OMODA 9’s suspension and steering setup. Central to these revisions is a retuning of the OMODA 9’s independent suspension. Paired with Continuous Damping Control (CDC), the vehicle enjoys renewed intelligent damping technology that continuously adjusts suspension response in real time based on road conditions and driving inputs. By adapting to changing surfaces and vehicle movement, the system helps deliver greater ride composure, improved body control and enhanced refinement – creating a more settled, premium driving experience whether travelling through urban environments or covering longer motorway journeys. The latest set-up, combined with an updated steering programme designed to maximise driver feel, ensures that the MY26 OMODA 9 remains a driver favourite in all scenarios.
Alongside its design and comfort updates, the OMODA 9 continues to define the brand’s flagship performance offering. Its proprietary and class-leading Super Hybrid System (SHS), in SHS-P plug-in hybrid form, combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with a 34.46 kWh battery to deliver up to 449 PS and 700 Nm of torque. The result is a 0–62 mph time of just 4.9 seconds, paired with a total driving range of over 700 miles, including up to 90 miles of pure electric driving. With CO2 emissions from just 38 g/km, it brings together performance, efficiency and long-distance usability in a way that reflects the evolving expectations of the modern SUV customer. MY26 updates also bring upgraded 6.6 kW Vehicle-to-Load functionality, allowing the OMODA 9 to support a wider range of external devices and equipment, further enhancing its long-distance and lifestyle versatility.
