  • JAECOO 7 remained the dual-brand’s best-selling model with 2,709 registrations*, placing it at number four in the UK’s top ten
  • The JAECOO 5 also placed in the top ten bestsellers list, ranking seventh with 2,481 registrations
  • The dual-brand house also became the UK’s third-largest automotive group in July by registrations*, with all models now available through its nationwide dealer network

London, 5 August 2026 – OMODA&JAECOO UK has posted another impressive sales performance, with 8,905 vehicles registered in July 2026*, according to figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). The performance saw the dual-brand house become the UK’s third-largest automotive group by registrations in July, while securing a 5.7%* share of the UK market during a buoyant month for new car registrations, up from 4.58% in June – an increase that highlights the pace at which OMODA&JAECOO UK continues to grow.

The JAECOO 7 retained its position as the dual-brand house’s best-selling model, recording 2,709 registrations in July and finishing fourth among the UK’s best-selling cars for the month. Meanwhile, its compact stablemate, the JAECOO 5, also had a strong result, continuing its impressive momentum with 2,481 registrations, securing seventh place in the monthly rankings.

The OMODA 5 also enjoyed another successful month, with 1,815 registrations across its diverse powertrain offering, including ICE, SHS-H full hybrid and fully electric variants.

A standout achievement for the dual-brand house in July was seeing not one, but two models secure places in the UK's top ten best-selling cars list. The achievement reflects growing confidence from British customers and demonstrates the increasing appeal of both OMODA and JAECOO as more drivers look beyond established manufacturers for high levels of technology, design and value.

With customer demand continuing to accelerate just two years after OMODA entered the UK market and only 18 months since JAECOO's arrival, this latest monthly performance further underlines the ongoing success behind OMODA&JAECOO UK. In a remarkably short period, the dual-brand house has established itself as one of the UK's fastest-growing automotive success stories, supported by an expanding retailer network and a growing range of petrol, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric models.

Commenting on the results, Victor Zhang, Managing Director of OMODA&JAECOO UK, said: “To see both the JAECOO 5 and JAECOO 7 enter the UK’s top ten best-selling cars, alongside the OMODA 5’s popularity, is a fantastic achievement and one that everyone across the business and our retailer partners should be incredibly proud of. These results demonstrate the strength of our product offering and show that more UK customers are recognising the value, technology and design that define both OMODA and JAECOO.

“In the two years since we launched in the UK, we’ve established a strong presence in an incredibly competitive market. As our retailer network continues to support our customers and our model range expands, we remain focused on delivering outstanding products and an exceptional ownership experience for drivers across Britain.”

With an expansive dealer network providing customers with comprehensive nationwide coverage, total OMODA UK registrations in 2026 now stand at 22,164*, while JAECOO UK has recorded 39,569* – with combined registrations for the two brands having now reached 61,733* in 2026.
