OMODA&JAECOO ENTERS NFDA LEAGUE IN FOURTH PLACE AS 91ST RETAILER OPENS IN UK
London, 10 November 2025 – OMODA&JAECOO UK has achieved an outstanding result in its first-ever entry into the National Franchised Retailers Association’s (NFDA) Retailer Attitude Survey*, securing fourth place overall – a remarkable achievement for a brand that launched in the UK just over a year ago.
The milestone comes as OMODA&JAECOO UK celebrates the opening of its 91st franchised retailer nationwide, underscoring the brand’s rapid expansion and strategic investment in its franchised retail network.
The Summer 2025 edition of the NFDA’s Retailer Attitude Survey – which has been conducted biannually since 1989 – serves as a vital indicator of the relationship between manufacturers and franchised retailers across the UK.
In the latest edition, OMODA&JAECOO UK made its debut entry and ranked highest of all manufacturers in total margin on new vehicles, current bonus and rebate rates on new cars, and product value and pricing. The brand was also rated second in future profit return, signalling growing retailer confidence in the profitability and long-term sustainability of the OMODA&JAECOO retail model.
These results reflect OMODA&JAECOO UK’s continued commitment to nurturing its retailer partnerships and ensuring strong commercial viability across its expanding network. The brand’s proactive engagement, transparent business model and product appeal have all contributed to its strong debut performance in the survey.
Victor Zhang, UK Country Director, OMODA&JAECOO UK, said: “To achieve fourth place in our very first NFDA Retailer Attitude Survey is a tremendous accomplishment and testament to the strength of our partnerships with UK retailers. We set out to build a network rooted in trust, transparency and shared success – and these results show that our investment in people, product and profitability is already delivering results. Our retailer partners are integral to OMODA&JAECOO’s growth, and we will continue to listen, collaborate and innovate to ensure that together we deliver a truly premium ownership experience for every customer.”
OMODA&JAECOO UK’s growth in 2025 has been equally impressive from a market performance perspective. With four models on sale in a mix of powertrains – the top-selling JAECOO 7 and all-new JAECOO 5 and E5, alongside the MY24 OMODA 5 and E5 and range-topping OMODA 9 – the brand house recorded a record year-on-year increase in market share, reaching 3.42% in October**.
Each OMODA&JAECOO model comes with a comprehensive 7-year/100,000-mile warranty and RAC Home Start as standard for the lifetime of the warranty***. As OMODA&JAECOO UK continues to grow its footprint, these results reaffirm the brand’s long-term commitment to its UK retailer partners and customers alike – building a strong foundation for future success.
* The National Franchised Retailers Association (NFDA) is the leading trade association representing franchised car and commercial vehicle retailers in the United Kingdom (UK). As the largest employer in the automotive sector, retail accounts for approximately 600,000 jobs in the broader automotive workforce. Retailer staff operate in over 4,500 franchised outlets across the UK, serving as the industry’s customer-facing frontline responsible for selling, servicing and repairing vehicles.
NFDA’s Retailer Attitude Survey (DAS) is a biannual survey examining the relationship between franchised retailers and manufacturers throughout the UK. The DAS continues to serve as a critical barometer in understanding the complex relationship between franchised retailers and their respective manufacturer(s). It has been running since 1989 and presents the most comprehensive overview of retailer sentiments and perspectives on manufacturers that the sector has to offer.
The Summer 2025 edition of the survey was carried out over six weeks, from 26 August to 7 October 2025, and garnered responses from 2,341 sites across 33 franchised networks, equating to a 61% response rate.
